The aircraft [9Q-CAB] overran the end of runway 26 on landing after a flight from Kinshasa. It ended up on top of a large lava heap which has covered the northern 3rd of the runway since a 2002 eruption of the nearby Nyiragongo Volcano. About 20 people on board ware injured, local reports said. The available runway lengh is limited to only 6500ft due to the lava presence.
